Party Weekend

It has been a weekend full of parties and fun. Starting Saturday night when we headed out to Jason's brother's house for Bree's birthday party. Birthdays at Ryan and Amy's house can be very crazy. Amy is one of 9 kids and Ryan is one of 6. So when you get all of the Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Significant others and cousins it can be a very crazy household and this weekend we were all present. Now add some friends on top of that... still having problems picturing it?

This is only a small portion of the people at the birthday party... if fact there is not a single one of my-inlaws in this picture... it's all Amy's side and only shows a small portion of the children. Can you imagine the house being this crowded... everywhere?

I'm glad that my family is not that large... our kids' birthdays will never been that crazy. Though there are a couple of good things about having that many people around. You never know what stories will be told or how hard you will laugh. That and there are a ton of cute kiddos around to snuggle with...especially as the night wears on and they get tired... for example...

Another great thing about birthdays at Ryan and Amy's is the cake... Amy aways makes wonderful cakes...

Sunday we celebrated, Shelly's, Jason's and my birthdays with my parents... then we headed out to mom and dad's to watch the Super Bowl.

The weather is no longer spring-like... today started with promise... especially after we missed the ice and snow that was predicted for last night... then about new we got a light dusting of snow pellets and 40 mile per hour wind...Though the sun came out this afternoon it still was bitterly cold out. Hopefully we miss the next snowstorm headed our way.
