Christmas Presents

This weekend is our final Christmas and I can officially say that I am done with the Christmas presents for this year! I still have a few more to post about including another baby quilt.


I made two of the Buttercup Bags from Made by Rae for my nieces.


Caden got a car playmat to farm with his new tractor.

This is the back of the mat. I was hoping to find a cityscape panel for this side but this was all my local quilt shop had with roads.

ABC Book

Here is the ABC Book that I made using the tutorial from Obessively Stitching though I made some changes including a velcro clasp to hold the book shut. I used my cricut and SCAL2 to cut everything out. It took forever but I was very pleased with the turnout and will probably make it again.

Catching back up

Since it has been several weeks since my last post I split what would have been long post into two shorter ones. The second post is pictures of what is left of the combine that were taken two weeks ago.

During the last week I have:

*Decorated the front porch for fall. I found this very interesting pumpkin at the local greenhouse and bought it and the mums at their frost sale.

*We celebrate Halloween with our nieces and nephew and went trick or treating with them. We went to a adult party Saturday night which is why my brother-in-law has black "claws" which he is still trying to get back off.

*I completed another Christmas present. This is for the little witch picture above. Tinkerbell is her favorite thing ever and she loves to help me cook when she come over. My to-get-done list is slowly shrinking and I'm about finished with the next afghan and will hopefully be posting about it by the end of the week.
